Will MLB The Show 23 have year to year saves? ›

Year-to-year saves are not available in MLB The Show 23. No items, stubs, XP or saved data transfers between editions of The Show. For example, your Diamond Dynasty collection from MLB The Show 22 will not transfer into MLB The Show 23. All users will start fresh when entering into MLB The Show 23.

Experience baseball's past, present, and future in MLB The Show's new online mode, Storylines. The Show 23 features Season 1 of The Negro Leagues, where you play out some of the most spectacular careers in baseball's history, complete with classic uniforms and matchups.

The Season 1 roster for MLB ® The Show ™ 23 includes: Leroy “Satchel” Paige, Jackie Robinson, Andrew “Rube” Foster, Hilton Smith, Hank Thompson, John Donaldson, Martin Dihigo, and John Jordan “Buck” O'Neil.

So there you have it, folks. With a little roster wrangling and a whole lot of baseball love, you can be building your own legend team and dominating the diamond in MLB the Show 23. Now go forth and make history (or at least make the opposing team cry... with laughter, hopefully).

Is cross-play between platforms supported? Yes, all consoles support cross-play. Will custom stadiums and logos transfer from 23 to 24? Yes, custom stadiums and logos that are uploaded to the Vaults will be accessible when 24 launches.

Although the series releases a new game yearly, MLB The Show 24 still has plenty of new additions compared to its predecessor. Many improvements have been made to realism and quality-of-life, including a wide range of new animations, adherence to new MLB rules, and menus that are easier to navigate.

Building from your base of always-playable Core cards, you'll supplement your squad with powerful Season-specific cards. Don't worry if you've still got multiple gaps to fill—this year, you can use multiple Wild Card players from past Seasons in your lineup at the same time!

Game Modes where World Baseball Classic is available in MLB The Show 23. Unfortunately, WBC teams are not available in the Diamond Dynasty mode, which means players cannot use these teams in online matchups. However, players can choose to play as one of the WBC teams in Exhibition mode, either offline or online.

Cross-Progression is available on all platforms for MLB The Show 23. *As a reminder, no items, stubs or XP can be transferred between non-linked accounts or between different editions of The Show.

Year to year saves have been gone since MLB The Show 21, but it's a hot topic beyond even something like online franchise mode being removed years ago because Y2Y saves were unique to The Show.

Gameplay. The game includes a new game mode, named Storylines: A New Game Experience. This mode is set to focus on the Negro Leagues. The mode will feature eight players who played in the Negro Leagues, including Jackie Robinson, Buck O'Neil, Satchel Paige, Rube Foster, and more.
