Joe Swash, alongside his wife Stacey Solomon and their children, is currently featuring in a new reality series. The celebrity couple has welcomed viewers into their family home, Pickle Cottage, for a new BBC One fly-on-the-wall show.
The series, fittingly titled Stacey and Joe, provides an exclusive peek into the family's life at their Essex home, filmed during the summer and autumn of 2024.
The programme also presents a candid view of Stacey and Joe's modern blended family with children Zach, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle.
Beyond his bustling family life, actor and presenter Joe first shot to fame after securing the role of Mickey Miller on BBC One soap EastEnders in 2003.
He also appeared on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2008, establishing a successful career in the entertainment industry. reports Plymouth Live.
The 43-year-old fell in love with Loose Women star Stacey and they tied the knot in 2022. However, before all the glitz and glamour, Joe featured on the ITV reality show Club Reps as a teenager.
The show was a behind-the-scenes look at the wild escapades of the Club 18-30 reps and holidaymakers on the Greek Island of Faliraki.
Joe made his appearance as a holidaymaker in the very first episode of the series when he was just 18 years old.
Alongside his group of friends, Joe was ejected from the hotel for being a "nuisance", which included setting off fire extinguishers and creating a mess in their hotel room.
During a revealing episode, resort manager Marie 'Maz' Slater detailed the boys' antics, saying, "Well, anyway last night they went to the [hotel] Matina they set off fire extinguishers all around the hotel, so I'm going up there now to kick them out."
Later, she characterised their actions as "generally being nuisances."
The 2000-filmed show captured an incensed Maz confronting Joe and his friends at Hotel Matina in Faliraki with the words, "The contract with Club 18-30 has been void. I want you to go to your rooms and pack your suitcases with immediate effect."
After one of Joe's mates enquired about alternative sleeping arrangements, Maz firmly responded: "I don't have to find you anywhere to stay. You're on the streets, as far as I'm concerned."
She continued, stressing her demand: "Because I want you out" though Joe tried to offer an apology.
Unmoved, Maz insisted on their departure, leading Joe to address her as "treacle" only to be sharply rebuked: "Don't you dare call me treacle for a start!"
Joe desperately tried to reason further: "I paid £140 for a Club 18-30 trip," before he was directed to his room.
In the end, after things calmed down, Joe and his group were permitted to remain at the resort, strictly under their best behaviour for the rest of their stay.
Three years post his stint on Club Reps, Joe bagged the role of Mickey Miller on EastEnders, a part he played from 2003 to 2008.
However, Joe made a fleeting return as Mickey in December 2024, marking the soap's 40th anniversary.
Stacey & Joe currently airs Tuesday's at 8pm on BBC One, and the series if available to catch-up on iPlayer
