OVERVIEW OF E-INVOICING IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• Electronic Invoicing (e-Invoicing) is a system in which Business-to-Business (B2B) invoices, Export invoices & Invoices of Credit/Debit Notes of Registered parties are validated electronically by GSTN for further use on the common GST portal.
• Through Generate e-Invoice option in Marg ERP Software, the user can easily upload their B2B, Credit & Export invoices on e-Invoice Portal after the registration process is completed.
• The main objective behind the introduction of e-Invoicing by the tax departments is to ease the whole process of invoicing i.e. to reduce all the reconciliation problems related to data and auto-populate the returns that will help the taxpayers to easily get the Input Tax Credit.
• The GST e-Invoicing is mandatory for the businesses with a turnover of Rs. 500 crores and above from 1st October 2020.

PROCESS OF REGISTRATION & LOGIN TO E-INVOICE PORTAL

• In order to upload the invoices on eInvoice portal, the user needs to first register on eInvoice Portal.
• Visit to einvoice1.gst.gov.in

• Click on Registration >> e-Invoice Enablement.

• An ‘e-Invoice Enablement Form’ will appear.
• The user will mention the ‘GSTIN’ and ‘Captcha’ as shown. Then click on ‘Go’.

• The user can view the all the details in the form.

• Click on the check box (☑) of ‘I agree that for the PAN…..for eInvoicing’ and then click on ‘Send OTP’.

• An OTP will be sent to the Registered Mobile No.
• The user will enter the OTP in ‘Enter OTP’ field and then click on ‘Verify OTP’.

• In this way, the process of registration will get completed on eInvoice Portal.
• Now the user will visit to GST Portal. Click on ‘Login’.

• An ‘e-Invoice System Login’ window will appear.
• Enter the ‘Username’ and ‘Password’.

• Enter the ‘Captcha’ as shown here and then click on ‘Login’.

• A ‘Dashboard’ will appear.

• Click on ‘API Registration’ from the left side icons given in the Dashboard’.

• Click on ‘Create API User’.

• An ‘API Registration’ window will appear.
• A message of ‘Do you wish to Register your GSTIN for Directly or Through GSP API Interface’ will appear. The use will tick the circle of ‘Through GSP API Interface’.

• As the user will tick the circle of ‘Through GSP API Interface’; some fields i.e. ‘Select your GSP, Username, Password, Re-enter Password’ will appear.
• The user will fill all these fields as per the requirement.
• Then click on ‘Submit’ tab.

• The user will receive an ‘OTP’ on the registered mobile number.

• The user will fill that OTP and click on ‘Verify OTP’.

• A pop of message of ‘Account Created Successfully’ will appear.
• The user will click on ‘OK’.

• So, in this way the process of the portal will get completed.

PROCESS OF E-INVOICING IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• Go to GST >> GST Register & Returns.

• Click on ‘GSTR Settings’.

• • A ‘GSTR Settings’ window will appear with different fields.

• The user will go to ‘eInvoice HSN or Item Wise’ field. Select as per the requirement that whether the invoices which are required to be uploaded on eInvoice Portal should be uploaded HSN Wise or Item Wise.

Suppose, select ‘Item Wise’.

• In ‘Remove Discount from Item’ field, if the user keeps a discount on an item then it sometimes creates an issue in discount which is being provided after applying tax at the time of uploading invoice due to which the user will not be able to successfully upload the invoice on e-Invoice Portal.

• Now after doing the settings, click on ‘Okay’.

• Click on ‘EWay Modules’.

• A ‘GST EWay Returns’ window will appear.

• The user will select ‘J. GST/EWay Login Details’ option.

• A ‘Misc GST Login Credentials’ window will appear.
• The user will click on ‘Edit’.

• Mention the Login ID of GSTIN and click on ‘Save’.

• Now go to GST >> Generate eInvoice.
• A ‘Marg GST Summary’ window will appear through which the user can upload the invoices.
• In Period field, the user will mention the date i.e. from which date till which date the invoices needs to be viewed.
• Click on ‘Show’.

• The user can view all the invoices of B2B, Credit Note or Export (Invoice Type) will get displayed with proper details for the selected period i.e. GSTIN, Tax Type, Invoice Date, Invoice No., Bill Amount etc.

• The invoices which are already filled will be displayed with a ‘tick☑’ sign and invoices which are not filled will be displayed as ‘Untick’.

• The user can select from 3 boxes (B2B, Export and CDNR) i.e. whether the user needs to view only B2B Invoices or Export invoices or Credit Note or all 3 of them.

• By default all these 3 boxes are already selected but the user can select it as per the requirement.

• Select an invoice which needs to be uploaded and then click on ‘Upload’ tab.

• An ‘e-Invoice’ window will appear with different parameters.

• Select that whether the user needs to view & send all the details of the selected invoice (All) or only mandatory details needs to be send (Mandatory) or any additional details needs to be send (Additional).

• The user can view Company Details & Party Details and modify them as per the requirement. In order to view/modify Company Details, the user will click on ‘Company Details’ tab.

• A ‘GST Return 1 & 2 and GSTR9’ Company Detail window will appear with different fields.

• The fields with a ‘*’ sign are mandatory to be filled and uploaded.

• The user can click on ‘Edit’ and modify the mentioned details as per the requirement and ‘Save’ it.

• Similarly in order to view/modify Party Details, the user will click on ‘Party Details’ tab.

• An ‘Export Customer’ Party Detail window will appear with different fields.

• The user can click on ‘Edit’ and modify the mentioned details as per the requirement and ‘Save’ it.

• The user can also switch to ‘Company Detail’ window by ticking the circle of ‘Company’.

• Apart from it, if the user click on ‘Search’ tab then can view & modify the Transaction Detail, Document Detail, Seller Details, Buyer Details, Dispatch Detail, Shipping Details, Export Detail etc.

• Suppose the user needs to view and modify ‘Dispatch Detail’; search ‘Dispatch Detail’ from ‘Search’ Tab.

• Click on ‘Modify’ button.

• A ‘Dispatch Address’ window will appear with different fields.

• The fields with a ‘*’ sign are mandatory to be filled.

• The user can click on ‘Edit’ and modify the mentioned details in the fields as per the requirement.

• Similarly the user can view and modify ‘Export Detail’ i.e. Delivery Address as per the requirement.

• In case of ‘Export’ if the goods are being exported to another country (Out of India) then the user can also change the value of ‘Foreign Currency’ by clicking on ‘Modify’ button.

• A ‘Change Value’ window will appear.

• The user will select the value from the dropdown of foreign currency as per the requirement and can change it.

• Also, the user can change the ‘Country Code’ from its dropdown according to that country where the goods are being exported.

• Now after viewing and modifying all the details as per the requirement, the user will click on ‘Check’ button.

• As the user will click on ‘Check’ button, the software will auto detect that whether all the details are properly provided or not for uploading that invoice.

• If any error arises in it, the software will indicate that error in order to correct or fill it.

• If all the details are correct & completed then an alert message of ‘ All the mandatory information available’ will appear.

• The user will click on ‘OK’.

• Then all the tabs i.e. e’Return’, ‘JSON’ and ‘Upload’ will be clickable.

• Click on ‘Upload’ tab to upload the invoices i.e. through which all the selected invoices will get uploaded on eInvoice Portal.

• Now an alert message of ‘eInvoice Successfully Uploaded’ will appear along with the Acknowledgement No. and Date.

• Click on ‘OK’.

• An ‘Invoice IRN Details’ window will appear along with the Signed QR Code.

*IRN: Invoice Reference Number*

• If the user will scan this QR Code with Government App i.e. ‘QR Code can be scanned by e-Invoice app only to see the output’ then can view the complete summary of that scanned bill.

• If the user will set ‘eInvoice HSN or Item Wise’ field to ‘HSN Wise’ then the user can upload all the invoices HSN Wise basis.
