Team,
I have a mate I'm trying to help with a DSG fault that has come up 3 times now - transmission fluid sensor/pressure, the transmission neutralises and a hard reset is required to get going again. I thought an adaptation is a good start before we make an expensive call on a Mechatronic issue.
Happy for anyone's input.
First scan from May, second of the fault from last week when it did it again.
The engine speed and road speed don't line up with actuals either?
I've tried the adaptation procedure but I mustn't have the exact process right or the exact measuring data - I don't get the IDE00024 fluid temp option.

Please check TCU's Advanced Measuring Blocks for mechatronic hydraulic pressure during operation. If that isn't maintained at 60bar (or 52bar if the TCU software is updated) and drops well below 42bar, then you will probably need a new mechatronic or, if willing to roll the dice, Kinergo repair kit.

I had success, I found a post from Daniele from June 2019, and followed the process set out in that post-
adv. measuring block select:
-basic setting sequence index (this is essential)
-status of basic setting
-satus of basic setting data
ignition ON, engine OFF
[GO] basic setting of transmission
wait until in the basic setting sequence index appear number 4, and then turn the engine ON
after a couple of minutes and some noise, the live data should diplay now:
-basic setting sequence index: [254]
-status of basic setting: [16]
-satus of basic setting data: [VALID]

Everything happened like it should, car drives well still, now I'm monitoring it to see if the fault comes back.
As the problem is intermittent, I'm not expecting a cracked housing around the accumulator, so I'll see how it goes in the coming months.
