I got both my first appointment when I was 6 weeks 5 days. They tried abdominal first and couldn't see anything so they had to do transvagin*l and then we were able to get a clear view.

I’ve *always* needed a vagin*l ultrasound for early in pregnancy. But here they just do it if they can’t see. I also have a slightly tilted uterus so they can’t see anything till like 9 weeks.

I had a vagin*l ultrasound yesterday at 5 weeks 6 days and we saw the gestational sac and yolk, but only vagin*lly. She tried on my stomach first and couldn’t really see anything.

Everyone is different. I’m pregnant with baby 4 and at 12 weeks they usually have to do vagin*l US still. I have a tilted uterus and they can never see anything abdominal at the 8 week- never in my 3 pregnancies. Our first baby I freaked out because they looked and looked and didn’t see anything at 8 weeks then saw it vagin*lly. Went to 12 week and dr specifically said we can always see abdominally at 12 week. Looked and looked and the baby was not there. vagin*lly again and there was my now 7 year old son moving around with a strong heartbeat. Keep your head up!

Don't worry my dear. If your hcg is at 329 means it is still early . It looks like ure at a week 4. Your hcg doubled every 2 days at this point. The sac will only b visible on the transvagin*l ultrasound when your hcg level reached 1500 and above
